Kish Kim, who majored in visual design, started taking photos of pro-democracy protest in Seoul, South Korea from 1989. And has continued working as a designer and photographer ever since. His works are published in Time, Newsweek, Science, US News and World Report, Der Spiegel, Stern, Le Figaro, La Presse and many more. He published four photo books, <Gaza War, the Maze Wall | 2015 | Noonbit Publications>, <No youth can be as beautiful as this | 2011 | Planet Media>, <Every You, Every Seoul | 2010 | Seoul Metropolitan Government>, and <Beautiful Professional | 2008 | Planet Media>. Kish Kim also participated in numerous international exhibitions including <The Scenery with Murderous Air>, <Gaza War, the Maze Wall>, <Unfamiliar Seoul>, <NYC ESBSCAPE>, <Earth On The Move> and <A Window On The World> solo exhibitions. Currently, he is a professor of Multi-Design Department at Kangwon National University and still continues documenting wide range of historical events.
